Post by Vibhas Thu Mar 19, 2009 1:29 am

Well, im getting a PC/Monitor/K-board and mouse soon

Pc specs = way 2 pro for gunz (like Gfx = dx 10.1 quad core @ 2.6ghz, 8gb ram etc) but im stuck on the k/b and mouse.

    Tell me what i should get, i.e. k/b = option 1, mouse = option 3

    Options:

for k/b: (ranked in my order, i dont rly know whats better about G15 and G11 >< help me out

    1.G11 gaming k/b
    2.G15 gaming k/b (40 more $ in my currency, or 20US more)
3.Some random good one that you guys recommend, not 1000 US!!

    Mouse:

1.Creative Fatality Pro Laser Gaming Mouse 29US (57 in my currency)
    2. G5 (2007) (47US) 94 in my country
    3. one you guys pick (recommend)

    I have the G11 and it works wonders : ) I can e-lunge and e-flip now lol =D

The response time is good and it has a backlight and some macro buttons. Multikey macors don't work on gunz though so no TBF macro for you : <

As for a mouse.. I've used Razer mice and they've been awesome. If you're in to a light, fast and very responsive mouse then go for a Razer. If you're looking for weight and some more arm movement then go for the Logitech gaming mice.

Well, seeing as this forums lacks activity I might as well try to help others out even if it means bumping threads that are a bit on the old side :3

I also don't really see the problem, but I think that the ignorance of some people in Inno is the biggest cause that not everyone is registered yet.

Gameguard disables multikey macros with the G11 keyboard. I know how to make macros and even made e-lunge + e-flip macros but they didn't work in game. Only the macros that had 1 keypress in them worked.

If you still get 'em to work: tell me your secret ; )

    0.078 delay

    Heres my tbf:

    down Space
    0.010 second delay
    Down Ctrl
    0.008 second delay
Down F (Or Shift, I use F for defend)
    0.008 second delay
    Up Space
    0.008 second delay
    Up Control
    0.008 second delay
    Up "F" (or Shift)

IT works half the time then stops slashing then comes back...

My multikey'd macros don't work on gunz =o A lot of people said the same on Gunzfactor forums. Apparently gameguard is blocking them.

Well, my CURRENT pc is budget, only supports 10 yr old gfx cards. K/b and mouse = thro out, no-one will buy (mouse = ball inside.. not even optical) pc's etc are just not hi on list of priorities...

However, gj bumping it, i read it, informative..

Now, what exactly ARE multi-key macros, are they like, you press a button, and it does whatever macro you stored on that button??

I think ill get a G11, G15 is pushing it
@ the mouse, i think ill get the Creative Fatality 2020 mouse. It has weights that you can put in, and 2400 CPI, which you cant compare to DPI, but its prolly similiar... and its not too expensive (30US after converting currency here in NZ to US)

PC: I'm looking at something, that can run prison 65 on 1000FPS, but of course, i wont push it up there, anything past 60-100 fps is no difference.... Monitor, i wont get a 1920x1200, prolly just a full HD....
Cost 'round 900-1100 US .. so decent for the k/b, mouse / monitor/ Desktop

Multikey macros are just macros that contain multiple keystrokes. Like putting the keypresses required to do a DHS on to one button.

For a mouse, I suggest the Logitech G9

It has you can change its weight, a nice scroll wheel
2 programable buttons above left click, two more on the left hand side where the thumb sits and you can program the left and right action of the scroll wheel.

Also, you can set up to 6 pre-set sensitivity levels on your mouse that you can go through at a click of a button.
