Introduction to Clan War - Guide Empty Introduction to Clan War - Guide

    Introduction:

It is great to be a super pro at questing, but aside from computer A.I., fighting against people is the best way to test out your skills as a fighter. Aside from your regular dm games, Attk and Def, tdm, and berserker, CW is where all the true pro gunz fighters go. You may be good in quest servers in a dm game, but if you go to a cw server and join a dm game there you'll quickly notice the difference in skill lvl. On top of that, the exp you get from a cw game is 1.5 times greater making it a good way to lvl up much faster than dming in a quest server ^.^

    Basic Idea about CW:

Clan War means to play with your clan with 2,3 or 4 players against other clans. In Clan War you'll need to play better with your team, and good tatics are needed. Because unlike TDMs Most cw teams are working as a team, not trying to solo their way to victory like TDMs with randoms.

    Basic Tactics:

    1) Shoot the middle when u're in narrow places. Most of the bullets will hit if you are using breakers.

    2) Try to avoid massiving when theres more then 2 ppl alive on other team

    3) Take heals when needed ( Prem meds suggested). Remember, if your hiding and medding, the other team is also probably medding too. Only med you need to, or you know that it is safe to med. It's also a good idea to med whne your team has taken the advantage (when its 3 to 1 or 2 to 1 and your team mates can attk while you med)

    4) Spray is good as it's an anti-lag weapon. No need to leadshot so much. Spray is best used when cwing with 3 or more people.

    5) Try to flip if the ceilings are low, use instafall for ez kills ( mainly in garden , near entrances/doorways )

    6) If Camping, try to camp near spawns, or areas where theres only 1 entrance.

    7) Try not to rush unless you have high yellow to full health, making a mistake could cost you a win.

8)When against Top clans, try killing one player, and ruuun for your lives!! You will get flamed for this though...

    9) If you just want to win, try potshotting, its really effective.

    10) Stick to your Partner unless you have a solid tatic.( or ur juz playing a noob clan...)

    11) GANG as much as possible.

    12) Have a decent weapon combination set up, when you know the ping of the opponents you are going to play, although Breakers do the job most of the time. Sprays are also rather useful against all types of pings. Use your common sense, and you should know what not to use in certain situations

    13) Chat Macros are crucial if you dont have Ventrilo, saves time and lives...

    14) Have fun and think tactically, no CW is over till you win it.

    15) Staying in the air makes it harder to hit you. Wall post as much as you can.

    The ACTION Itself :

    In 2V2s ( Most common )

    1) Stick to your Partner especially in 2v2s when in wide open spaces unless you have a solid tatic.

    2) In narrow alleys, dont stick or stay on the ground, its easier to aim that way.

    3) Stay at least 3cm apart so that u both wont get ganged so easily.

    4) If you just want to win, try potshotting, its really effective.

    5) Have Partners with low ping(when 2v2) , as its easier to team that way

    In 3V3s (Quite Common)

    1) Player 1(Breaker + Spray) Player 2&3(Dual Breakers)

    2) Seperate! Sprayer stick with 1 of the breaker users. Another breaker user go search. Use vent to say number of enemies and say "all here! come now!" or use a macro. If one opponent alone, GO GANG !( The one going alone must be pro... or better than the other 2)

    3) Let the best player try and backstab the opponents.

In 4V4s (Easiest to win, and the easiest to lose)

    1) In 4v4s, try not to let your whole team have similar weapon combinations, as it most likely would fail epicly.

    2) Have Partners with low pings, or have 2 pairs of players with 2 different sets of pings when in 4v4s thus its harder for most clans to kill you, since they have to readjust their aim every now and then...

    3) One group try to backstab(if possible) Another group distract enemies and flashstep all around to avoid being hit as much as possible and endure until the other 2 comes.

    4) You Will Never Walk Alone ( Seriously, dont try...)

Finally, take a SCREENSHOT of every win u get, u may never know, the next day that clan maybe ranked 1.
